A polished pressure cooker is a pressure cooker whose surface has been polished. This treatment makes the surface smooth, shiny, and easy to clean, and is commonly seen in aluminum pressure cookers.
Based on the material, pressure cookers are mainly divided into aluminum pressure cookers and stainless steel pressure cookers. Aluminum pressure cookers can be further divided into polished pressure cookers, bleached pressure cookers, and anodized pressure cookers based on their surface treatment.
Polished pressure cookers: have a smooth and bright surface, are easy to clean, but have relatively weak wear resistance.
Anodized pressure cookers: include types such as oxalic acid oxidation, sulfuric acid oxidation, ceramic oxidation, and hard anodizing. Hard anodizing has a thick and hard layer, providing better wear resistance.
In contrast, stainless steel pressure cookers often use brushing or polishing processes. Here, "polishing" usually refers to mirror polishing, resulting in a shiny and beautiful appearance, and is less prone to accumulating dirt and bacteria, making cleaning easier.
