We understand your dedication to cookware maintenance; shiny cookware not only enhances aesthetics but also affects your cooking experience. When cleaning a polished pressure cooker, the key is to protect its smooth surface from scratches and avoid using abrasive cleaning tools.

Here are cleaning suggestions for polished pressure cookers:

Minor Everyday Stains: Wipe with a soft sponge or scouring pad dampened with neutral detergent and warm water. Dry immediately after washing to prevent water residue.

Stubborn or Burnt Stains:

Soak in a 5%-15% baking soda solution for 20 minutes to soften the stains, then gently scrub with a soft cloth or sponge.

Alternatively, add water, a few slices of lemon, or a small amount of white vinegar to the pot and boil for 10-15 minutes. The acidic substances will dissolve the stains, then wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Avoid using steel wool or abrasive brushes. While some methods mention using steel wool with baking soda for cleaning, it easily scratches polished surfaces, damages the shine, and can lead to roughness and increased grime buildup with long-term use.

Regular maintenance and odor removal: Add water to the pot, add ginger slices or white vinegar, and boil for 10-15 minutes to remove residual grease and odors while keeping the inner walls clean.

Cleaning of sealing rings and other components: Remove sealing rings, vent valves, anti-clogging covers, etc., and clean them separately with warm water and dish soap. Use a toothbrush to clean crevices, ensuring no food residue clogs the gaps.
