How to Maintain a Pressure Cooker with an Oxide Inner Liner?

Due to its uncoated, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant properties, a pressure cooker with an oxygen-free inner liner avoids the risk of coating peeling, making it a healthy and durable choice. Following proper cleaning and maintenance methods can significantly extend its lifespan.

1. Don't worry about scratches during cleaning, but promptly remove residue. The surface of the oxygen-free inner liner has a high-hardness oxide layer (hardness up to HV350 or higher), which can withstand repeated scrubbing with steel wool and scouring pads without damage. It is recommended to clean it promptly after use to prevent food residue from adhering for extended periods. If there is slight burning after cooking rice, soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing to easily remove stains.

The lid, sealing ring, and exhaust valve are removable and should be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of oil and bacteria.

2. Keep it dry during storage to prevent deformation of the sealing ring. After cleaning, be sure to dry it thoroughly, especially the area where the pot body contacts the sealing ring. Prolonged dampness may affect electrical components or cause rubber parts to age. It is recommended to store the pot lid upside down on the pot body to prevent the sealing ring from deforming under pressure and affecting its sealing performance.

3. Avoid human-caused damage and safety hazards during daily use.

Do not pressurize unauthorizedly: The pressure relief valve should be correctly installed on the exhaust pipe. Do not add extra weight to increase the pressure, as this may cause danger due to excessive pressure.

Always release steam before opening the lid: After cooking, release the steam manually or naturally to confirm that there is no pressure before opening the lid to prevent burns.

Avoid long-term storage of highly corrosive foods: such as salt, soy sauce, vinegar, etc. Although the inner pot is corrosion-resistant, long-term contact may still affect its surface condition.

4. Regularly check safety devices to ensure normal operation. Check whether the exhaust pipe is blocked, whether the safety valve is flexible, and whether the lid lock is intact. If any abnormalities are found, clean them immediately or contact after-sales service for repair to ensure safety every time you use the pot.
